Privacy policy.

This page explains what personal data we process, why, for how long and what your rights are. We follow Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Slovak Personal Data Protection Act No. 18/2018.

This website

• It uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools, and contains no forms.
• Fonts, images and scripts are served only from our own server, not by third parties.
• If you pause the animation, your browser remembers this choice on your device; nothing is sent to the server.
• Our web hosting provider’s server automatically records technical logs on each visit (IP address, time, requested page, browser type). They are used only to keep the site running and secure and are usually kept for a few weeks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you contact us

If you email or call us, we process the data you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.

• Purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and agree on cooperation.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for contact persons of companies, our legitimate interest in communicating with customers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: while we handle your enquiry and then for no more than 12 months if no cooperation follows.

When we work together

To perform a contract we process the contact and billing details of your responsible persons and the data needed to provide the service (for example access to systems we manage).

• Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, for example in accounting and tax (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Retention: for the duration of the contract; accounting records for 10 years under the Slovak Accounting Act; other data at most until the limitation periods for legal claims expire.

Where managing your systems gives us access to personal data that you control (for example data of your employees or customers), we process it only on your instructions as a processor under a data processing agreement.

Who we share data with

• the web hosting and email service providers we use,
• our external accountant or tax adviser,
• public authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. If any of our suppliers processes data outside the EU/EEA, this happens only with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses). We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

Your rights

• to access your data and obtain a copy,
• to have inaccurate data corrected,
• to have your data erased or its processing restricted,
• to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• to data portability for data you provided to us,
• to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

You can exercise your rights by emailing info@softon.sk. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest. Providing data is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer your enquiry or provide our services.
